30 point question in need of serious help. Chemistry problem?

Fist of all, let me tell you that your teacher sucks. Clearly, ZnS is an insoluble compound and it will precipitate out of the solution. It will be a solid. Now, an electrolyte is any substance containing free ions that make the substance electrically conductive. The most typical electrolyte is an ionic solution, but molten electrolytes and solid electrolytes are also possible. As you can see the electrolyte will need to dissolve on a soln and ZnS cant. Now as a solid I believe is a semiconductor.
