What's the difference between UC and CSU schools?
UC schools have an emphasis on research. Many of the professors are at the forefront of their fields and have "written the book" so to speak on their area of expertise. Some of these top professors are not very good as teachers though. Cles tend to be based on theory and require a lot of ysis. UCs also give out Masters and PhD degrees. CSU schools have an emphasis on undergraduate teaching, although there is certainly still some research going on. Many cles focus more on practical skills. Beyond undergraduate degrees, they only give a few Masters degrees. UCs are probably better if you want to seek graduate school. CSUs are sometimes better if you want to go straight into an industry with a special skill, such as business management, or whatever.
