Why is the Frederick Dougl "Narrative" ... HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!?

Dougl was a well known freeman who toured the northern US speaking against slavery. He operated an abolitionist newspaper and even met with President Lincoln. He also was well read, an excellent speaker and influential in the abolotionist movement. Dougl openly chastised the President to end slavery. He was an amazing man.
