Is it difficult to get into the English Literature Honours courses in University of Edinburgh?

I have been igned to University of Edinburgh as a visiting student for the next academic year. I intend to take the Honours courses for my third year studies, but one component of my TOEFL scores did not meet the requirements and I was told to take only first and second year courses. They said they would review the decision upon my arrival when i took a TEAM test, and providing there are spaces, they would grant me places in those honours courses. Do I stand high chances of getting in the English Literature Honours courses? Thanks for answering!
