What are the easily and commonly available general purpose operational amplifier (like uA741 etc.) ?

741s can be purchased at Radioshack. They're in the back. They're actually kinda old and are not used in new electronics, they're only still around as a learning tool. If you're interested in newer devices, I've attached a link to the Texas Instruments website.
