How do you to remove mildew from dark clothes?

When you wash your clothing in the washing machine, along with your regular detergent, add about a quart of regular white vinegar. It is the best stuff. Once I had some bathroom towels that I couldn't bleach and after trying various things, including baking soda (which didn't work one bit) the vinegar was the one thing that worked completely. I use this method all of the time now (my teenage son lets his bath towels get to this condition a lot). Works perfectly.
