Honestly, there is never any harm in asking for one. Usually when people ask for elective c-sections it is because they are afraid of having a l birth because they haven't experienced it before. For you, you've experienced it and it was very bad for you. You have built up scar tissue that could cause complications anyway and they may opt to do one themselves. I just have to warn you, I don't know if a surgery will be any better of an experience for you. It will also leave you impaired for several weeks and it is much harder on the body even more so than a bad labor expierence.
