Christians, Muslims, etc. Your god is evil?

I love how religious people blame it on satan. Isn't god everywhere? And didn't god create the universe. Is there sin in the universe? Did god make the universe? I am an atheist but if this is true and god did make the universe and there is evil he is either a failure or evil himself and satan is his psychopathic mind.
