How do I get fingerprints expunged that I got taken in elementary school in another state?

I don't like that the police can access my fingerprints when I haven't committed any crimes or even been arrested. I just got them taken when I was little and the whole cl got them taken by police. How would I go about getting them removed from the system? can I do it in a courthouse in the state I live now or would I have to travel to where I lived previously?
